What's new

What changed, and when.

Newest first. Each entry is something new you can do.

  1. Pro free for 14 days from your first import

Every account gets every Pro feature for 14 days, starting when you import your first report. No card, and nothing to switch on. After 14 days you move to the free plan and nothing is charged. Already imported reports? Your 14 days started today. Choosing Pro during the trial keeps the trial: the first charge is on its last day. Have a promotion code? Enter it under Settings.

  2. The sample shop is a whole year now

The shop at /demo now holds a made-up seller’s year: shows most nights, Pokémon, sports breaks, comics, retro games, toys and a thrift rail. Behind it are the lots and storage-unit buys, hundreds of buyers, running costs and the buyers who never paid. Every date range, filter and saved view has data in it. Loading the sample into your own account still adds three weeks, so it stays quick to view and remove. The tour now blurs the screen behind each step and clears it when you finish.

  3. A sample shop anyone can walk around

Open a sample shop from the home page: three weeks of made-up shows, with a five-step tour of net profit, the fee breakdown, profit per hour, when a show stopped paying, and Decisions. No account needed, and it’s read-only.

A prep sheet for every planned show

Plan a show and its prep sheet gives the orders needed to break even and to hit your hourly target, what each piece sold for before, the lowest start that breaks even, and a running order built around when your shows usually peak. After the show, the review compares it with the plan.

    Your best nights

The Shows page now has profit per streamed hour by weekday and time of day, from your costed shows. See which nights are worth going live.

Pro by the year, and a month for every seller you invite

Pro is $390 a year or $39 a month, both starting with 14 days free. Invite a seller from Settings: they get 30 days of Pro free, and when they start paying you get a month free, up to 12 a year.

    Seller guides

Straight answers with the math shown: what a sale pays, what a refund or a giveaway costs, the 1099-K, shipping, pricing a case, and more.

  4. The real Ledger and the real monthly statement

whatROI reads the Ledger CSV and the monthly statement exactly as whatnot exports them, so boosts, bonuses and payouts land where they belong. Days are counted in your own time zone everywhere.

Bundled giveaways stop paying for a label twice

A giveaway shipped in the same package as a paid order no longer gets a label charge of its own.

  5. Typed costs stay typed

A cost you type on a sale stays separate from the one a lot works out. Correcting a lot’s price reaches every sale it should, and a lot can’t book more cost than it had.

  6. Cancellation fees, the Ledger, suppliers and receipts

whatnot’s cancellation fee has its own line. Import the Ledger for boosts and bonuses. Record where stock came from and what the trip cost, keep receipt photos, and print QR labels for lots and items. Pro starts with a free trial, no card.

    A bigger free plan

The free plan now covers 4 shows a month with full detail and 2 lots, enough to compare where stock came from.

Expenses you can keep, and ones that repeat

Operating expenses are a ledger with payees and payroll. An expense can repeat every week or month.

  7. Buyers, the pull sheet and when to stop

See buyers who never paid and regulars who always do, pull orders by bin or buyer after a show, and find where each show stopped paying for your time.

Take your data, or delete it

Download everything as one Excel workbook, or delete your account and all its data. Both are in Settings, on any plan.

  8. Show Reports, products and analytics

Import the per-show Show Report for failed payments and cancellations. Rank products four ways. Run analytics over any range, with filters and saved views.

    whatROI opens

Drop in the Weekly Orders Report to see net profit and profit per streamed hour for every show, after fees, labels, refunds, giveaways and stock cost. Seven free calculators need no account.
