Questions
- Is this the same as a whatROI account?
- No, and you don't need one. The extension reads a report on your own machine and shows what you kept. A whatROI account remembers every show and what each lot cost, so it can show profit.
- Why does it say “before what you paid for it”?
- A browser can't know what your stock cost. It reads every fee whatnot charged and every label you bought, but it can't know the case was $1,800. So it shows what reached your balance.
- Where do my reports go?
- They stay in your browser, on your device, and are deleted after thirty days. Nothing uploads or syncs between machines. whatROI only sees a report when you press Save to whatROI on it.
- Why does it forget after thirty days?
- It's a calculator, and a month of reports on one machine is what a calculator can keep. Comparing last Thursday with last month, or finding the lot that carries you, needs an account.
- The numbers on my whatnot orders page look wrong or missing.
- whatnot changes that page from time to time. When it does, the extension says so and hides any figure it's unsure of. Dropping your report in still works. If it keeps happening, email us and say which page.
- Which reports does it read?
- The Weekly Orders Report (Finances → Statements & Reports) and the Show Report (Show Actions in a show's sidebar). CSV or spreadsheet.
- Does it work outside the US?
- Yes. The fee schedule covers the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia and Japan. Set your region in the extension's settings.
