How to read the whatnot Weekly Orders Report
Where to download it, what each row is, and which columns matter. The report is your record of what whatnot paid you.
Updated · 6 min read
The Weekly Orders Report is a CSV of every order transaction and tip that completed in one week, fees broken out. Each row is money in or out of your balance: a record of what you were paid.
-$5.53
What one refunded $20.00 card did to the balance: its Order Earnings and Order Refund rows (same Order ID) added together.
Where to download it
- Sign in on whatnot.com in a desktop browser.
- Click your icon in the top right to open the seller menu.
- Choose Finances, then the Statements & Reports tab.
- Find the week and click download. It saves as a CSV.
Weeks run Monday to Sunday in UTC. Late Sunday evening in the US is already Monday in UTC, so anything completing then lands in next week's file.
Row types
Each row is one transaction. The Transaction Type column says which kind:
- Order Earnings: a completed sale. The amount is the price less commission, processing and any shipping you paid.
- Order Refund: money returned to a buyer after the order completed, partial or full, whether you accepted it or whatnot issued it. Refunds whatnot paid in full are left out.
- Tips: from a show or your profile.
- Shipping Charge: shipping you owe after the sale, such as label adjustments and bring-your-own-label costs.
A sale and its refund share one Order ID, often in different weeks. Add up the Transaction Amount of every row with that ID to see what the order did to your balance.
- Order Earnings$20.00 less $1.60 commission and $1.06 processing
- $17.34
- Order RefundThe earnings back, plus the buyer's $4.47 shipping and the $1.06 processing
- -$22.87
- What the order did to the balance
- -$5.53
A giveaway is an Order Earnings row too. Its price is zero, so the amount is minus your label: -$4.47 on a $4.47 label.
The columns that matter
| Column | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Transaction Completed At (UTC) | When the money reached your balance. The report is sorted by it. |
| Order Placed At (UTC) | When the buyer bought. Can be blank on rows other than Order Earnings. |
| Livestream ID and Livestream Title | The show the sale came from. Blank for sales outside a show. |
| Buy Format | Auction, Buy-it-Now or Giveaway. |
| Post Coupon Price | The price after your own coupons. Commission is charged on this. |
| Buyer Paid | Price, shipping and tax together. Processing is charged on this. |
| Commission Fee and Payment Processing Fee | The two fees taken from the sale, to the cent. |
| Shipping Fee | Shipping you paid, giveaways included. Zero when the buyer paid it all. |
| Transaction Amount | What you were paid (positive) or charged (negative). Matches your balance. |
| Cost of Goods | Filled only if you entered a cost on the listing. |
| Shipment ID | Ties a Shipping Charge row to the orders in that package. |
On the example card the buyer paid $26.07. Processing is 2.9% of that plus $0.30: $1.06. Commission is 8% of the $20.00 price: $1.60, the standard card rate. From September 21, 2026, sellers with $15,000 or more of sales in four weeks pay less. The Commission Fee column shows what you were charged.
Headers come in two spellings: the names above, or capitals with underscores (TRANSACTION_AMOUNT, POST_COUPON_PRICE). If you build a spreadsheet on it, match columns by name.
What's left out
- Orders that haven't completed yet.
- Failed payments and cancelled orders. The Show Report has those.
- Payouts, referral bonuses and promotional spend. They're in the Ledger.
The Show Report
The Show Report covers one show and is ready when it ends. On whatnot.com, open Shipments in Seller Hub, pick the show, open the sidebar and choose Export Show Report (CSV) under Show Actions. It has one row per order (buyer, product, price, time placed) and a cancelled_or_failed column. It has no detailed earnings, so take fees from Monday's weekly report.
The report analyzer reads either file in your browser, and the file stays on your device. whatROI imports the same files, ties each refund to its sale, and adds your stock cost for a net profit per show.
