Four key settings

These four change what your numbers mean. Set them on day one.

Region

Sets the fee schedule and currency. The wrong region means the wrong commission on every recomputed sale.

Time zone

Decides which day a show falls on and where a month ends. Get it wrong and a late Sunday show lands on Monday.

Target profit per streamed hour

Your floor. It drives the prep sheet, the orange warnings, and when a show is marked as having stopped paying.

Shipping policy and buyer tax

Buyer-paid, seller-paid or capped shipping, and the tax rate buyers usually pay. They set the starting point for break-even floors.

You don't set your commission tier. whatROI reads it from each weekly report, along with Premier Shop status, so it matches what whatnot charged.

Category defaults

Point a category at a lot and new sales in it are costed on import. After the first month, this keeps the costs queue nearly empty.

Emails

Two kinds, and you can turn both off:

• A Monday reminder that your weekly report is ready, if you want one.
• Occasional news about the app, with an unsubscribe link in each.

Account emails, like password resets and billing receipts, always send.

Export or delete your data

Both work on every plan, free included. Download everything gives you one Excel workbook with a sheet each for shows, sales, transactions, lots, items, expenses, statements, imports and saved views, exactly as stored.

Delete account removes your login, every import and everything you entered, right away and for good. A paid subscription is cancelled first. There's no recovery window, so download the workbook first if you might want it.
